A powerful 7.8 Magnitude earthquake has left many homes in Barangay Big Margus completely wrecked.
Families have been forced to sleep outside, exposed to heat, rain, and aftershocks, with little to no access to basic necessities.

Current Situation on the Ground
Our team has conducted an ocular visit in Barangay Big Margus, and the situation is critical:
🏚️ Several houses are totally destroyed
👨👩👧 Families are sleeping outdoors due to unsafe structures
🍚 Limited access to food and clean water
🔦 No electricity in affected areas, making nights dangerous
👶 Children and elderly are among the most vulnerable

What We Are Raising Funds For:

Solar Radio with Flashlight & 4-Meter Tarpaulin
The solar-powered radio with built-in flashlight helps affected families stay informed with emergency updates and provides essential lighting at night when electricity is unavailable. The 4-meter tarpaulin can be used as a temporary shelter, offering protection and safety for those whose homes were damaged.
Banig (1 pc) & Insulator Foam (2 meters)
The banig provides temporary comfort, especially for children and nursing mothers. The insulator foam helps prevent direct contact with the ground, offering added protection and comfort while families sleep inside their tents.
Rice (25 kg), Toiletries & Twine (10 meters)
The 25 kg of rice provides long-term food support for a family of four. Toiletries help maintain basic hygiene, while the 10-meter twine is used for securing and setting up temporary tents.
